Lock replacement
The whole lock gets replaced when the mechanism is damaged, when there has been a break-in attempt, or when what is fitted is simply not enough any more. If you have only lost the keys, the cylinder alone is usually enough and costs less — we will tell you which one you actually need.

We look at the door first
If you have only lost keys, the cylinder alone is usually enough and costs a good deal less. We say so — a full lock change you did not need is not a sale worth making.

Not every lock suits every door. Thickness, frame and whether it is multipoint decide what can go in.

A new lock in a door that has dropped will bind within months, so the door gets adjusted at the same time.
